I woke up this morning and was getting ready to go to work and I noticed it was REALLY cold in the house....I am used to it being cold in the mornings, but today was particularly cold. I checked the weather and it was -3, which backed up my theory. I glanced out the window and the sun wasn't out at all, so I figured that was the reason.
Anyway, I am all ready and I get my stuff and head out the door, prepared for a cold bike ride, only to be greeted by a freaking SNOW STORM happening outside!!!!!!!!! Not only was it snowing really hard, but there was Gunma wind on top of it!!!! Eek! It was QUITE the adventure on the way to school, as I was going against the wind and I literally could barely see anything with the snow being blown into my eyes! Too bad it's not Oregon, as school def. would have been cancelled! :)
Anyway, the snow has of course stopped now that I'm warm inside the staffroom.....crazy weather!

hey, it sounds like you have the same weather as we do!!! Today was like literally 25 degreees outside at noon and by 6 p.m. it had droped to like 10! WTF!? We need to agree on who gets the cold or the hot weather!!!!
Honey, there will be no bitching on this blog about 10-degree weather being "cold!" :)
yeah.. similar situation Monday morning in Kiryu. In fact, I wore my ski goggles for the 20 minute bikeride. If that isn't an indication that living in Japan has made me stop caring about how I look, then I don't know what would be.
