Long Weekend, Part Two

Sunday was Jenny’s goodbye party (sniff!!!) at Atsuko’s, which was an excuse to eat the most ridiculous amount of food EVER. It was all amazing amazing amazing food, but I wanted to vomit afterwards. I also had approximately 300 glasses of wine because I’m a huge alcoholic. Oh, well!

The party was fun, though! Lots of eating, drinking, talking, and even a special little song for Jenny ;) Hahaha. Afterwards we went out to karaoke, which was good times, as always. SAD, it might be the last time we all karaoke together. BAH, I don’t wanna think about it!

Shinders slept over and we ventured out in the now never-ending rain to go to AEON to see Pirates of the Caribbean with Emily, Jenny and Ann. Um, this was the worst idea we have ever had. The line for the AEON bus was HUGE, which was not a good omen. Then it took over twice as long as usual to get to AEON because EVERYONE in Ota (and then some) had the brilliant idea to go there on their day off. There were only like ten tickets left for Pirates, so we were in the very front and all had to sit by ourselves. We rushed through lunch, saw the movie separately, then all left. Um, we all saw for about 5 minutes total and didn’t enjoy a minute of AEON. Not a relaxing day off! Also the movie wasn’t very good at all, tho I wasn’t expecting much. Should have gone with the original “I am not leaving my house all day long!” plan. Oh, well.

At night I was bored so I turned on Match Point (or is it Matchpoint?)…um, apparently I am missing out on something because it bored the shit out of me. I turned it off after 40 minutes ‘cause I didn’t care what happened in the end. Also, Scarlett Johanssen (uh, major sp) was HORRIBLE in it. She is so boring and has horrible delivery. Also the character is supposed to be like “Everyone wants to fuck me, I’m so hot,” and I don’t really think of her that way at all. She was mis-cast and now I realize why everyone says she’s a bad actress. Bad news bears, yo!

And yeah, that was my weekend. Now I’m back at work where there’s only TWO DAYS LEFT YAY YAY YAY then summer vacation! Even though summer vacation seems to be busier than actual school days, but who cares! WOOT!
