On Saturday Cindy was nice enough to accompany me to the Yabuzuka matsuri (festival). I went by myself last year and it was soooooo boring and awkward, as I didn’t know anyone (it was a few days after coming here) and I just walked around for 3 hours by myself (sniff!).
Well, it was still kinda boring and awkard this year, but at least Cindy and I could talk shit about people! Hahahaha. Poor Cindy got judged by every single student that passed us (and the entire school was there), as all of my students were searching for gossip between us. I was asked if she was my wife, fiancé, girlfriend, friend, and, most surprisingly, SISTER?! Um, yes, there IS a very strong resemblance…..crazy students.
Anyway, apparently Shinders made a lasting impression, as I am at school today and they are all asking me about her again! Oy.

If I'd gotten $1 for every time I heard "kanojyo" that night, I'd be able to purchase my own kakigori stand!
