1. You see a shiny new 7 11 on the way to Beisia and you get really excited and proclaim, “COOL, a new conbini!!!!”

2. You receive your keitai (cell phone) bill and get excited that it’s “only” $90 when you only talked on it for about 20 minutes in the entire month.

3. You hear that an ALT has an apartment in which the toilet and the shower are in the same room/area and you get disgusted at such a barbaric thought, despite having the same thing for 22 years.
